Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control including:
courier delays
customs processing
severe weather
delivery access issues
Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
the delivery address is correct
the delivery location is secure
someone is available to receive the parcel where required
Couriers may provide options to rearrange delivery through their tracking services.
Proof of Delivery
Once a parcel has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, the order will be considered fulfilled.
Delivery confirmation may include evidence provided by the courier such as:
GPS delivery location
delivery photographs
courier tracking confirmation
timestamped delivery records
signature confirmation where applicable
This evidence is considered valid proof of delivery.
The Vault is not responsible for parcels once delivery has been confirmed by the courier to the delivery address provided at checkout.
Signature Deliveries
Some orders may require a signature upon delivery depending on the value of the order, destination or courier requirements.
Where a signature is not required, courier delivery confirmation methods such as delivery photographs, GPS tracking and timestamped tracking updates may be used as proof of delivery.
Missing or Lost Parcels
If your order has not arrived, please contact us:
within 5 working days of the expected delivery date for UK deliveries
within 10 working days for international deliveries
We will open an investigation with the courier which may take up to 14 days.
If the courier confirms the parcel is lost in transit, we will either:
send a replacement, or
issue a refund
If the courier confirms the parcel was delivered, we will provide the delivery confirmation evidence supplied by the courier.
Customs Duties, Import Charges and International Shipments
For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, your shipment may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs fees imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer.
If customs duties or import charges are refused, unpaid or the parcel is rejected by the recipient, and the shipment is returned to us, the following costs may be deducted from any refund issued:
the original shipping cost
any return shipping costs charged by the courier
any customs duties or charges incurred
a handling and administration fee
These deductions reflect the operational costs involved in managing returned international shipments.
In some circumstances, if the combined costs exceed the order value, no refund may be issued.
Parcel Recalls and Delivery Amendments
Once an order has been dispatched, we are generally unable to recall, intercept or reroute parcels while they are in transit.
Courier recall requests can cause significant operational delays and may not be supported by the shipping provider.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information is correct at the time of checkout.
